On the morning of 12th April, accompanied by Director Sun Yan with the Teaching& Research Office, instructors and researchers in nine disciplines including Chinese, maths and English with Municipal Teaching& Research Section arrived at Anqing Foreign Language School to conduct lecture attending, research and survey in Grade 12. Also in company were Anqing Foreign Language School’s President Madam Huang Wenli, Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong as well as Directors Xu Haihong, Cao Siqing and Xu Zuitai.
In the first place, the teaching and research staff from nine subjects with Municipal Teaching& Research Office went deep into the 12th grade classrooms and attended lectures at random from the first to third revision lessons in Grade 12 to supervise and evaluate classroom teaching.
In the second place, at the conference room on the first floor of the administration building, all teachers in Grade 12 attended the assessment meeting. Also in attendance were President Madam Huang Wenli, Directors Xu Haihong, Cao Siqing, Xu Zuitai and other administrative leadership. The meeting was chaired by Principal Assistant Qian Zhihong who explained to the Research Group in details the current situation and exam preparation programs in Grade 12. Other than that, Principal Assistant Qian presented information in terms of this year’s examinee analysis, target location, multi-stage review plans, exam preparation measures, emphasis on the cultivation of students majoring in arts and sports in addition to the construction of exam preparation atmosphere. More noticeably, he stressed on the relevant measures in this year’s 12th grade preparation and revision for the College Entrance Examination.
In the third place, the survey team fully affirmed Anqing Foreign Language School’s exam preparation and review initiatives in Grade 12 as well as the achieved remarkable results. Afterwards, the instructors and researchers in each discipline with the Teaching& Research Office proceeded intensive feedback on the lecture attending conditions in the morning and highly affirmed the professional literacy and proficiency in teachers from Grade 12 in Anqing Foreign Language School. What’s more, they were deeply impressed with the favorable classroom teaching atmosphere and efficiency. In the meantime, the teaching and research staff put forward valuable suggestions in regards to the details in classroom instruction, choices on the teaching content in addition to the exam preparation and research for the College Entrance Examination. Additionally, Director Sun Yan with the Teaching& Research Section summarized the conference.
